Dr Bansi completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1996. He then completed his training as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Queensland and was awarded fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2007. Dr Bansi was the Director of Orthopaedics at The Townsville Hospital from 2007-2008 before undertaking fellowship training at the St Lukes and Sydney Hospital Hand Unit.

Dr Bansi is a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.  He is a member of the Queensland Shoulder Society as well as the Queensland and Australian Hand Surgery Societies.  He is also a member of the European Wrist Arthroscopy Society and a member of the AO Alumni Association.  Dr Bansi has attended and presented at both national and international scientific meetings.

Dr Bansi is a Senior Lecturer of the University of Queensland. He is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner and is available for medicolegal consultations.

The focus of Dr Bansi’s practice is shoulder, elbow and hand surgery.
