Dr Mark Richardson is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in conditions and surgery of the knee. The focus of his practice is arthroscopy, reconstruction and replacement of the knee.

He was educated in Brisbane and received his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1993. Dr Richardson completed his residency and advanced surgical training in Queensland and was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2003.

He is actively engaged in research in the above fields.

He is a Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Queensland and has published peer reviewed articles in Orthopaedics.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and a member of the International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.

Dr Richardson is happy to conduct telehealth consultation services for regional patients to enable an easier consultation process. This may allow any required surgery to be performed during one visit to Brisbane.

He is available for medicolegal consultations and is certified with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.
